Michelle is really a range of 20 denier hold up stockings from Gatta, they are available plain as here or with added motif... in the case of Gatta Michelle Carnival that motif is made of tiny diamond like studs. When the plain version comes in off white is it labelled as a “wedding stocking”.
Aside from the colour these are quite standard hold-ups made in two sixes with a sheer sandal toe. Sizing is based on a combination of foot length, leg length and thigh circumference.
These are very simple stockings with just the slightest hint of shape at the heel. The sheer, light leg is topped by a 5” 13cm deep lace top. The lace top is not stiffened and carries two light silicone bands to grip your leg.
Dressing on your wedding day will be easy, at least as far as your stockings are concerned, the soft light material is very stretchy and the larger of the two sizes will easily cope with the maximum leg and foot lengths suggested and sit with the stocking top at gusset level. Sitting so high means you are less dependent on the silicone, just a well as they are not the grippiest hold up tops we have seen.
There are those who say that a wedding demands real stockings with a suspender belt, well the happy side-effect of those rather light silicone bands is that the tops of these stockings will take a suspender clasp. Our Cleopatra 6-strap belt was perfect both for strap length and colour match.
Smooth and soft to the touch with even colour these are just the thing for your big day, but be sure to buy at least two pairs and spread the spares among your bridesmaids in case of ladders.
